The Full Story
Writing music is like breathing to me, so I write in the shower, while I swim, while I'm on a walk, and anytime really. My musical genres cover: Pop, Jazz, Blues, Opera, Alternative/Indie Rock, Rock, Country and Instrumental. The subjects of my work vary from love to the 'elephant in the room' topics and more. I write music around a single word, melody, chord progression, or whatever comes to me. I love music and I my passion for it shows how committed I am to my work.
The First Time I Performed in Front of People
I had auditioned for the School Talent Show for two years with friends, but both years we were not selected. However, once I reached the Sixth Grade, I auditioned with an original composition, "It's Gonna Be Fine," and finally had the chance to perform in front of the school. Though at first I had a bit of stage fright, I found it easy to become comfortable and get lost in the music. I felt a new type of energy rush through me as I sang and my fellow peers clapped along, knowing that this was where I belonged all this time.
